Custody Business And Risk Management Of Security Companies

Since 2012,when the laws and regulations allow securities company to host business,the custody business of securities companies has brought considerable income,become a part of the profits.At the same time,the asset custody business has risk management problems.At present,there are still defects in risk management of the custody business of securities companies in China.Based on those,the thesis of the securities company asset custody business from two angles of hosting products and services to carry on the risk identification,through the analysis of custody income and cost,the profit and loss are studied and the corresponding conclusions and suggestions are drawn.In this paper,maked a brief analysis of the development course of the domestic and foreign asset management business,studied the foreign advanced asset custody risk management methods,and compared the domestic asset management business of securities companies and commercial banks.In the process of identification of the risk of asset custody of securities companies,the two aspects of managed products and services are identified.In terms of measurement,revenue and cost analysis,using hosting revenue and fund net worth of direct proportion relationship,risk measurement and indirect measurement of managed assets for hosting revenue,cost according to the human,office,system maintenance and so on were analyzed.It is found that there is a large risk of loss in the asset management business..To identify risk measure and draw lessons from the domestic and foreign commercial bank asset custody risk management model proposes perfecting the assessment mechanism of fund managers,establish a reasonable risk management organization structure,strengthen internal risk control,the use of risk management information technology and more participation and some Suggestions such as strengthening.
