With the development of China's economy and the upgrading of residents' consumption,consumers want better products and the demand for imported goods is expanding.Various e-commerce companies have successively established cross-border import platforms and made profits from cross-border consumption.International women's apparel is one of the most important categories of cross-border e-commerce platforms.For cross-border imported electric business platform enterprises,the product distribution of international women's apparels has a great influence on sales,and it is worth an in-depth research.Firstly,after searching a large amount of information,we summarized the history about cross-border import platform industry,and discussed how international women's apparels products entered the Chinese market.Taking electrical platform of J company as an example,we interviewed an employee of the J company,and briefly summarized the history and the recent situation of this platform;Secondly,we used the web crawler system to collect product information about the women's apparels on J company platform,and analyzed the product distribution of international women apparels through seven indexes,which are brand,price,clothing style,design style,material,scenery and reviews.After quantitative and qualitative analysis,it can be concluded that international women's apparels on this platform are mostly office lady style dresses which from American brands,Italian brands and French brands,made of cotton or silk,and few customers gives reviews on these dresses.Thirdly,we made a target customer description by consulting target consumer reports and interviewing the employee of the J company,and we found that the target customers are mostly young women under 30,live in first-tier cities,highly educated,and have high level of consumption;Lastly,as the conclusions of the third and fourth chapter,we made a comprehensive analysis and found that J company platform on the international women's apparels are not so match the target consumers' demands,the J company could pull off some not-selling-well products from shelves to reduce the supply-demand mismatch,and could put on products with different the design style or materials on shelves when there is a severe competition between brands to achieve the product differentiation,and estimate the purchasing habits of the target consumers in the future,to adjust the product distribution strategy in time.
