CDGM is a professional optoelectronic material supplier founded in 1956,mainly engaged in research and production of optical materials.It has a certain influence in China's optical industry and even the world's optical industry.At present,the enterprise is in a critical period of development and transformation.The external environment and the company's own strategic development are constantly changing.The organizational structure of the company,the structure of the cadre team,post responsibilities and so on are also quite different.The current middle managers' performance evaluation system can no longer meet and promote the needs of the company's administration and development.Further optimization is needed.This paper firstly summarizes the meaning of performance and performance evaluation through the study of relevant theoretical knowledge,and summarizes the basic content of the performance evaluation system and the commonly used methods of performance evaluation index design.Then briefly introduces the general situation of CDGM,its employees and middle managers,and organizes all middle managers to fill out questionnaires to investigate the satisfaction of middle managers' performance evaluation system.By making the statistics of the survey,the company's existing problems and the root causes of middle management performance evaluation system has been found.Based on the existing problems,by using the theoretical knowledge and tools of performance appraisal,this paper then focuses on the improvement of index setting,index standard,index weight,performance appraisal subject and the result's application.At the same time,in order to ensure the smooth implementation,this paper introduces the detailed measures of implementing the improved performance evaluation system,thus form a complete middle management performance appraisal system improvement plan for CDGM.
