Science and Technology Museum is a public science education institution with exhibition education as its main function and dynamic demonstration and participation in experiential exhibits as its main display means.Its main purpose is to stimulate public interest in science and inspire public scientific concepts.Since the announcement of "Notice on Free Opening of National Science and Technology Museums" in May 2015,138 science and technology museums have been open to the public free of charge.The public goods and public welfare nature of the science and Technology Museum are the theoretical basis for its free opening.Vigorously developing science education and improving the quality of citizens is a realistic demand for free and open.The implementation of the free open policy has impacted on the original management mode of the science and Technology Museum.In order to cope with the changes in the new era,science and technology museums must timely adjust their management strategies and formulate management measures adapted to the policy of free opening,so that they can operate in an orderly manner.On the basis of IPA analysis,this paper investigates and analyses the satisfaction of visitors of Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Museum by means of questionnaires.At the same time,through in-depth analysis and drawing lessons from the practice experience of domestic and foreign science and technology museums,combined with the actual situation of Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Museum's free opening management operation,this paper tries to analyze and draw lessons from the The sustainable development and operation management of Inner Mongolia science and technology museum after free opening put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
