Jurassic Fault Identification And Favorable Reservoir Prediction In Luxi Area

Jurassic is the focus strata of oil and gas exploration in Junggar Basin,there are three advantage conditions for forming reservoir,such as shallow of oil and gas,a good configuration of depth and shallow fault and sedimentary facies belt of delta-front facies.Since 1996 has been found SN 4 well Jurassic Sangonghe formation,SN5 well Jurassic Toutunhe reservoir,leading to the discovery of the Shinan oilfield.Luxi area has the characteristics of forming reservoir which migration and accumulation from other source.The fault and the development range of sand body are two factors controlling hydrocarbon accumulation and the scale.For the two major problem above-mentioned,draw up the corresponding technical countermeasures and form into the interpretation of fault and the series technology of predicteding reservoir according to the geologic characteristic of target area.There are more faulta in Luxi especilly the small fault closed to surface is more complicated.In this paper,according to the technology such as direct cross-sectional interpretation,instantaneous phase,horizontal slices,coherent,inclination,broken ribs comprehensive testing,draw a precise interpretation for depth and shallow fault system in the target arae.The fault system has obvious delamination in the longitudinal direction in the area.In the bottom boundary of the Jurassic boundary,The fault system can obviously be divided into deep and the shallow fault system.The main development thrusts system which developed in deep structural layer below Triassic link up the oil source,control the deep deposition;the main being broken development in shallow structure layer above the Triassic take a work of controlling traps and accumulation.The distribution of purpose sand body control the scope of the reservoir in Luxi land.According to the analyse of drilled well.Objective layer reservoir of Jurassic has three characteristics:a thin sand body,development in stack,a little difference of sand shale impedance.In this paper,we use more technology such as forward model,seismic attribution,seismic face attribution,spectrum decomposition,seismic inversion.It predict a favorable range of sand bodies in target horizon,in addition with a higher degree of matching drilled.
