Taking audience ratings of TV news of the people's livelihood as the start point and using TV program of Inner Mongolia Broadcasting and Television Station Daily News of Inner Mongolia as the research object,this article analyzes the relationship between factors(the contents of the news,the length of the news,etc.)and the shift of audience ratings through categorizing the broadcasted news and analyzing the collected data of audience ratings.To analyze the audience's viewing habits and the influence factors of the audience ratings,the author uses statistical analysis,chronological analysis,inferential analysis and regression analysis to establish an analysis model.The research and analysis of audience ratings is the significant proof of knowing spectators' watching demands and accommodating business strategies of the program.This article includes two kind of data which are program drafts and audiences ratings.Through refining the contents and news types,the author will match the column's time ratings and its changes with the program itself.With the description and statistical analysis of the time series of column ratings,the influence degree of the program ratings by the factors such as periodic factors and broadcast periods is verified.Through the model construction,we analyze the significant level of the impact of people's news program content,program type and duration on the ratings of columns,and the contribution degree of each subdivision index to audience ratings.The results of analysis of program audience ratings measurement shows that the overall audience ratings of the program is significantly influenced by broadcasting period and playback time.Simultaneously,the shift of daily audience ratings is affected by news content,news types and the length of news and other factors as well.This article bases on the management status of Inner Mongolia Broadcasting and Television Station.According to the results of econometrics analysis of audience ratings,the author profoundly decomposes the problems and reasons of those issues,and then gives several management strategies from the selection of news content,the layout of news program and other aspects to improve the audience ratings and the impact of the news program.
