Abstract/Summary:
In the water conservancy projects,architecture construction projects,the stone relics protection and other fields,the water absorption rate of rock is one of the most important parameters.At present,the National Standard for Rock Water Absorption Measurement(GB/T 50266-2013)adopts manual testing methods,and there is s artificial reading and disturb in the measurement.With the development of science and technology in the field of instrument and measurement makes it is possible to automatically measure the water absorption rate of rocks.Based on the full investigation,according to the characteristics of rock’s water and rock,combined with the existing national standard measurement methods,the actual demand for the measurement of natural water absorption under the experimental environment,using sandstone as a research sample,this paper presentsaoverall design for rock water absorptiontest and measurement based on image processing.The hardware and software design of the system are completed.The prototype are developedandthe measurement device is manufactured.Device hardware system includes single chip microcomputer control,data collection quality,rock flooding image acquisition,communication circuit and stepper motor control part,and the corresponding experimental platform is built and the relevant tests are done.According to GB/T 50266-2013,the image method replaces the personnel monitoring in the traditional measurement method to control the immersion ratio of rock samples in water.By means of weighing sensors to collect and record the water absorbing quality at different times,the water absorption rate of rock samples is simulated by Matlab software and the change rule is explored.Analyze the development of pores and cracks in rock samples according to this rule.Designing host computer with Matlab with the library function model to complete the system’s program design to realize the connection between the single chip microcomputer and the host computer.The system carries out the image processing algorithm research,calculates the proportion of the sample immersed in the water based on the image processing technology and uses the calculated value.As a result,the motor is controlled to control the water level,an image segmentation algorithm suitable for this design is optimized,and the proportion of the immersed water portion of the sample is calculated by progressive scan method.The system platform was build,and the sample testing is done.The national standard measurement method and the measurement method of this article are compared.The experimental result analysis verifies the feasibility and correctness of the method.The research results of the thesis provide a new test method for automatically determining the water absorption rate of rock,which has certain practicality and application value.
