In recent years,as the excellent optical and mechanical properties of sapphire,the demand of the sapphire material is increasing rapidly and the use range of sapphire is becoming more and more widely.At the same time the market of sapphire crystal growth equipment is growing.Kyropoulos method is one of the common methods of sapphire crystal growth.For this method,the thermal field of the crystal growth furnace has great influence on the crystal quality.Analysis of the thermal field,optimize the thermal field and real-time monitoring of the furnace play vital roles to improve the yield and quality of crystal.So using an effective temperature measurement system,to improve the furnace heating field,is meaningful to improve the crystal quality and yield.This paper presents a design of the colorimetric temperature measurement scheme which is suitable for sapphire raw crystal furnace thermal field.Created a colorimetric fiber radiation thermometry system which has a simple and compact structure,relatively inexpensive price,high precision.The system includes a lens group,Y-type fiber,optical detectors,preprocessing module,operational amplifier module,A/D converter module,signal processing module,display module and information interaction module etc.This paper introduces principle of each module function and data processing methods.Finally,the temperature measurement system was tested and analyzed its performance.The experimental tests show that the design of the optical radiation temperature measurement system based on colorimetric method has stable performance,high precision,good repeatability and its measuring range can meet the needs of analyzing the sapphire growth process,suitable for measuring the sapphire bubble crystal furnace thermal field.
