In this paper,we designed and synthesized a rigid ligand 3,5-bis(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)benzoic acid(L),based on which,10 new coordination polymers were synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method with carboxylic acids as mixed ligands. These compounds were characterized by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis,IR spectroscopy,PXRD and TGA.In addition, the luminescent, magnetic and electric properties of some complexes were also studied.Complexes 1-4 were prepared by direct coordination of 3,5-bis(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)benzoic acid(L)with transition metals Co,Mn and Mo.The experimental conditions of 1 and 2 were same except that imidazole was introduced as the template in the synthesis of 2 to get high dimensional structure. In compounds 1 and 2,Co ions are six coordinated as the coordination centers.1 showed a two-dimensional lamellar structure and 2 exhibited a 3D network structure. In complex 3,Mn ions were six-coordinated with a octahedral geometry, constructing a two-dimensional layered structure.A 4,5,5-connected 3D topology structure was obtained in 4.Fluorescence and electrochemical tests showed that complex 4 has a certain degree of fluorescence properties and electrochemical properties.Experimental data showed that complexes 1-4 showed a good thermal stability.Six metal-organic coordination complexes 5-10 with new structures were synthesized based on L,different carboxylic mixed ligands and Zn.Different spatial configuration of supramolecular structures can be obtained by changing the type of acid auxiliary ligand.Complex 5,6,7 and 9 showed a two-dimensional structure;Complex 8 and 10 exhibited a three-dimensional structure. The fluorescence and TGA investigations indicated complexes 5-10 have certain fiuorescent properties and good thermal stabilities.
