In this dissertation,a research has been made on the identification and optimization method on critical variables which impact silicone oil production cycle time in the Group A based on Lean Six Sigma.When the Group A supplies the major customer B Company,there are limits on the production capacity of the silicone oil,and the production cycle needs to be shortened to meet its needs.By analyzing the process capability of A Group's silicone oil production cycle,we identified opportunities for improvement to shorten the production cycle and stabilize the production cycle.By analyzing the production cycle and the process steps of completed batches,we found the fluctuations in operation and adopted the corresponding quick-win improvement measures.And we used the value stream mapping analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in the process,and further identified potential process variables through the analysis of process variables,and screened out the key variables through hypothesis testing,and finally adopted the method of design of experiment to optimize the binary Variable settings and achieved project improvement goals.Improvements to the manufacturing process through Lean Six Sigma methods can reduce waste and volatility in the process to shorten and stabilize the production cycle.The method and train of thought that this dissertation studies,have certain reference meaning to similar projects of shortening the production cycle in manufacturing industry.
