Biodiesel is a kind of clean energy which can be used as an alternative fuel for petroleum-based diesel oil by esterification exchange reaction from animal and plant oil,gutter oil and algae.The research on biodiesel has received extensive attention and applied research,because of the wide range of biodiesel raw materials,the recyclability and the low emission of pollutants after biodiesel combustion and the similar physico-chemical properties of biodiesel and petrodiesel.Based on the current application study of biodiesel,there are many applications of biodiesel in engines,and less research on the application of biodiesel in industrial furnaces.In view of the few applications of biodiesel in industrial furnaces,the flame characteristics and temperature field distribution of biodiesel in industrial furnaces are studied in this paper,it provides data support and theoretical basis for the structural design of industrial furnace,burner design and the application of biodiesel fuel for bio diesel fuel,in order to promote the application of biodiesel in industrial field.The flame characteristics of waste cook oil and biodiesel in industrial furnace were analyzed.The flame characteristics of two kinds of biomass fuels were studied under different oxygen content and different gas flow.The results show: The length and area of the flame show the same variation law under different combustion conditions,both decreasing with the increase of gas flow and increasing with the increase of oxygen content;The flame brightness decreases with the increase of gas flow and increases with the increase of oxygen content;The breaking degree of the flame decreases gradually with the increase of oxygen content;The combustion status of biodiesel has improved significantly with the increase of oxygen content;The burning effect of the waste oil is not good,and ignition and stable combustion are more difficult.The FLUENT software was used to simulate the temperature field distribution characteristics of the waste cook oil biodiesel in the industrial furnace.The temperature field distribution of biodiesel combustion under different oxygen content and different gas flow was studied using waste cook oil biodiesel.the results show: With the increase of axial distance,the temperature tends to increase rapidly and then decrease slowly.With the increase of oxygen content and gas flow,the temperature increases to peak earlier;The radial temperature distribution law is that the temperature is lower on the axis and higher on both sides,and the temperature above the axis is higher than below the axis;With the increase of gas flow,the high temperature area gradually moves to the axial position.When the gas flow is large,the maximum temperature appears near the axis and the temperature decreases on both sides of the axis.
