ABS resin is a new kind of polymer thermoplastic material invented in the 1940 s.It has become one of the five commonly used resins in the world because of its good insulation,impact resistance,low temperature resistance,easy processing and molding,gloss and other properties.Due to the variety of raw materials for the synthesis of ABS and the variety of additives added,the composition of ABS production wastewater is extremely complex,and the suspended substance content is relatively high,mostly latex organic s,which is extremely toxic to microorganisms,and the treatment difficulty is also relatively large,making it difficult for domestic manufacturers to meet due emission standards for waste water treatment.In this paper,through the research on the treatment of ABS wastewater,it is concluded that,regarding ABS wastewater,about 840mg/L of COD can be removed from the coagulation unit,accounting for about 44% of COD,while the rest is the COD brought by dissolved COD and particle size less than 5?m,which cannot be removed by coagulation.Use PAFC as coagulant and PAM as coagulant aid,the coagulation effect is better than that of PAC,PAM,the temperature is 20 ?,under the condition of PH of 7,ABS wastewater treatment,the coagulation effect of COD and SS removal rate were 44.5%,83.5%;The uncoagulated ABS wastewater is biotoxic to the well-raised sludge in the bioburden.The ABS wastewater after coagulation has no biotoxicity to the well raised sludge in the bioburden,but has a certain promoting effect.The COD of ABS wastewater decreases gradually with the extension of biochemical time,and reaches the minimum at 208 h,and remains unchanged thereafter.It indicates that ABS wastewater can be biochemical to COD with a minimum of 119mg/L,and there is no significant change in TP and TN after biochemical,which can remove NH3-N and suspended matter to a certain extent.Using advanced treatment process,the water temperature is 23.8-24.5?,the aeration biological filter and biological activated carbon column packing layer of hydraulic retention time was 2.0 hours,30 minutes to O3 catalytic oxidation,O3 dosing quantity is 5.0 mg/L,the final analysis data can meet the national standard of water requirement for ABS wastewater discharge.
