With the progress of science and technology,more and more analytical methods have been studied.As an important branch of many analytical separation methods,high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)has an important application in many scientific research fields such as petrochemical industry,medicine,food detection,medicine,and life science.As the core component of liquid chromatography,the performance of the stationary phase plays an important role in separation efficiency and detection results.The higher performance stationary phase packing can effectively improve the analysis and separation efficiency.The porous characteristics of porous microspheres determine that the microspheres have good permeability and high specific surface area,which can effectively reduce the separation column pressure,and are widely used in HPLC stationary phase packing.In this work,three kinds of new monodisperse polymer microspheres were prepared,and their performance of high performance liquid chromatography was discussed.1.Polystyrene seed microspheres were prepared by dispersion polymerization.Based on the seed microspheres,3-(methacryloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane(KH570)-DVB crosslinked copolymer microspheres,imidazole type polyionic liquid microspheres and pyridine type polyionic liquid microspheres with good monodispersity were prepared.The effects of swelling degree,crosslinking degree and other experimental parameters on the morphology,monodispersity,heat resistance,pore size,and particle size distribution of polymer microspheres were investigated by scanning electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,mercury porosimetry,nitrogen adsorption-desorption,and thermogravimetry.2.KH570 has a good improvement effect on the surface adhesion,mechanical properties,and light transmittance of many materials.The microspheres prepared with KH570 as the single preparation combine the advantages of polymer microspheres and KH570,which have good mechanical strength,large specific surface area,enhanced the pressure bearing capacity of stationary phase packing and reduced the separation column pressure.The C18 modified poly(kh570-DVB)microspheres have a long alkane chain,which enhances the interaction between the stationary phase and the analyte.The particle size and pore diameter of polymer microspheres are controllable,and the surface rich functional groups can be chemically modified,which will improve the efficiency of liquid phase separation.So in reverse mode,benzene and its homologs were separated and their separation performance was tested by high performance liquid chromatography.3.Imidazole polyionic liquid microspheres were used as stationary phase packing.The ionic liquid has a very low melting point and vapor pressure,excellent thermal stability,and high dissolving ability.The polyionic liquid has the characteristics of both ionic liquid and polymer material.It overcomes the limitation of a single material,increases the interaction between the stationary phase and detection substance,and improves the separation efficiency.The separation conditions of sulfathiazole and sulfamethazine were optimized by adjusting the content of each component in the mobile phase.
