Bottled drinking water has a huge market share in China's retail industry and is an essential drink in daily life.However,due to the limitations of production equipment and testing equipment,drinking water may contain visible foreign matter such as paper scraps,tapes,labels,spiders during the filling process.Once these foreign matter-containing products enter the market,it will not only harm human health,but also cause huge losses to corporate reputation and economy.Bottled drinking water must be tested to determine whether there exist suspended solids before leaving the factory.At present,it is mainly observed by manual methods.This method is time-consuming and laborious.It relies on artificial subjective feelings,the detection effect is unsatisfying,poor reliability,unable to fundamentally guarantee product quality,as well as unable to meet the production requirements of high-speed production lines.Aiming at this problem,an automatic detection method for testing suspended solids in bottled drinking water based on computer vision technology is established in this paper,which includes image acquisition,object recognition of suspended solids,quantity statistics,size estimation,and other image analysis processing.On the basis of this,an automatic detection device for suspended solids in bottled drinking water is designed.The structure and working principle of the device are described,and the testing of suspended solids in bottled drinking water is accomplished.Firstly,the research background and significance of the visual detection system of bottled drinking water are introduced.Based on the production technology of bottled drinking water and the application of visual detection technology in the field of industrial inspection,the research status of automatic light inspection equipment at home and abroad is analyzed.According to the characteristics of visible suspended solids,the overall design of the bottled water visual detection system is proposed.The key technologies such as image acquisition systems,light sources and lighting methods,industrial cameras are introduced in detail.Secondly,the pre-processing of the image sequence of the collected moving suspended objects is mainly to suppress the interference of background noise during imaging.At the same time,in order to prevent the slight dithering that occurs when the mineral water bottle rolls to the detection station,a dithering removing algorithm is proposed in this paper that can remove the noise caused by the dithering while retaining the detection target information well and reducing large area noise interference after image difference processing.Further,a rotation projection algorithm is proposed in this paper to detect the size of suspended solids.The method can find out suspended solids in bottled drinking water both qualitatively and quantitatively with high precision.The statistics for quantity of suspended solids is accurate.Finally,based on the theoretical research of the above technologies,the verification testing was designed,the simple equipment was developed,the detailed experimental solution was given,and the error analysis and discussion of the testing results were carried out,which laid a foundation for the next research.The testing results show that the above device and method could be applied to the detection of bottled drinking water before water leaving the factory with the features of accurate detection,saving labor,improving work efficiency,and easy operation.
