The frame rate that human eyes can recognize is 24FPS to 30FPS,but we need to study the high-speed transient process in many situations.The high frame CMOS camera can fully capture the transient and process the collected high-speed process to the frame frequence that the human eyes can recognize.The characteristics of high-speed camera make it an important tool for studying transient phenomena.However,because of the foreign import and key technologies for high frame rate camera are limited,the domestic high frame rate camera research field is relatively backward.In order to solve the bottleneck of high-speed camera development,in this paper we confirm the technical indicators of the high frame rate camera system through the study of high frame rate camera application environment nowadays.Based on the indicators,we design a high frame rate CMOS camera system which can transmit high frame rate image in real time.The system is divided into four modules:image acquisition module,image processing module,image transmission module and power module.According to the technical indicators and the chosen chip features,we design the hardware circuit,and finally we complete the construction of high frame rate CMOS camera system's hardware platform.Based on the hardware platform,we finish the FPGA logic design work,including generating sensors driver,image preprocessing algorithm,image transmission interface--CoaXPress interface protocol's implementation,etc.Finally,through the functional test of the high frame rate CMOS camera system,the feasibility of the scheme is verified.The system can realize real-time transmission of 1000 frames of images with full resolution of the sensor without the need of on-board cache processing,which greatly improves high-speed camera's shoot time.The system can stably output 1000 frames of image,and the quality is good after image preprocessing.The image get no obvious noise and the quality can be adjusted in real-time according to different brightness of the shooting environment,so that the camera can work in different environments.
