The assembled steel grid box structure is a new structure system developed from the steel hollow sandwich plate structure.A structural system proposed and perfected by Professor Kejian Ma has good economic benefit and large rigidity.It is widely used in multi-storey industrial buildings.The demand for residential buildings in China is large,and the box structure has a good prospect in the high-rise residential buildings,but the box structure is not popularized in the high-rise building.It needs to be based on the in-depth theoretical analysis.This paper mainly analyzes the application of box structure in high-rise residential buildings,taking a proposed high-rise residential building as an example.Through the comparison and analysis of the box structure and the conventional structure,the advantages and disadvantages of its performance are obtained,and the feasibility of the box structure in the high-rise residential building is demonstrated in order to guide the selection of the parameters in the design as a reference and to pave the way for the actual project.This paper first introduces the basic mechanical concepts and basic mechanical models of the box structure,and deduces the solving equations of the box structure.Secondly,by comparing the elastic analysis of the two structures under the standard response spectrum method,the difference between the box structure and the conventional structure is found out.It is proved that it is in line with the current standard and has better stiffness and economy than the conventional structure.The two structures are analyzed by static elastoplastic analysis,and the performance of the two structures is compared.It is proved that the two structures can meet the requirements of the standard,but the box structure has better seismic performance under the same condition.After the analysis of the two structures under the action of the same seismic waves,the results show that the two structures can meet the performance level requirements of "large earthquakes not falling" under the action of earthquake,but the box structure has smaller displacement and less damage,and has good energy dissipation capacity.To sum up,the steel grid box structure is a set of economical and aseismatic structure,which is superior to the conventional structure,and has good application prospects and industrial value.
