Since the diplomatic relation established in 1972,the leaders of China and Greece have exchanged visits frequently and the political mutual trust continuously enchanced.Both understand each other and respect each other's core interests and major concerns.Economic cooperation and cultural exchanges are the two wheels of Sino-Greek relation.Shipping and maritime cooperation are the engine of Sino-Greek economic and trade cooperation.Sino-Greece relation has been a successful example of peaceful coexistence,cooperation and mutual benefits among countries of different sizes,systems and cultures.With the "Belt and Road Initiative" proposed,Greece's special geographical location in Southeast Europe and Mediterranean makes it an important strategic fulcrum for the "One Belt,One Road" international cooperation,especially in the construction of"21st Century Maritime Silk Road".Both China and Greece regard the joint construction of OBOR as a common opportunity for the two countries,and-vigorously promote the development strategic matching and complementary advantages.The successful operation of COSCO Port of Piraeus is a typical case.This paper focuses on the Sino-Greek maritime cooperation under the frmework of the OBOR.Guided by the economic diplomacy theory with Chinese characteristics,this paper examines and analyzes the achievements and risk factors of Chinese enterprises',investment in Greek port through an empirical study of COSCO Piraeus case.Which are intended to provide lessons for Chinese interprises to invest in infrastructure in other countries along the "Belt and Road",and to explore the positive interaction between China-Greece cooperation and the development of Sino-Greek relation.
