With the continuous maturity of light emitting diode(LED)technology,LED has become the main light source of indoor lighting,and the problem of discomfort glare caused by it has attracted people’s concern.In indoor lighting,the uniform glare evaluation index(UGR,Unified Glare Rating)is usually used for evaluation,which is suitable for the evaluation of discomfort glare of the traditional light sources.Because of its small size,high brightness,and adjustable light color,etc,LEDs have uniform light distribution during illumination,resulting in a different visual experience than the traditional light source.This topic has systematically studied the glare effect of indoor LEDs,and established a set of LED discomfort glare measurement control system.The main work content is as follows:Firstly,based on the analysis of the main causes of indoor lighting discomfort glare,the R/G/BW/W 4-color LED light source module was designed and developed.The module was studied in two different background luminance and two different light source counterparts.Under two conditions of eye height,the glare effect of LED light source under different correlated color temperature(CCT)conditions was studied,and subjective evaluation of de Boer was carried out under each condition.In this experiment,a total of 6 glare source luminance levels and 9 color temperature grades(3200K-7200K,ATc=500K)were subjectively scored by 9 subjects with normal vision.The experimental results show that the LED light source produces different degrees of glare effects under two different background luminancees.Under the same background luminance and light source luminance,as the color temperature increases,the subjective score is lower,and the discomfortglare is stronger.Secondly,based on the above work,the UGR glare evaluation model was revised by linear fitting analysis method,and the mathematical correlation model between the subjects,subjective score and the correlated color temperature CCT and UGR values of the LED light source module was established and verified.The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the model prediction result and the subjective score of the subject was 0.96.Finally,based on the above model,LED indoor lighting glare detection software was developed,and a test and control system for LED discomfort glare was built.The system has the following functions:illumination detection,CCT acquisition,glare calculation,and dimming and color adjustment of the light source through the smartphone APP At the same time,the illuminance value and the accuracy of the CCT value collected by the system are calibrated using corresponding test instruments.This work provides a new idea for the evaluation of LED discomfort glare,and also provides some theoretical support for the development of convenient and fast glare test equipment.
