"Topological shape",as a new design and shape strategy,is gradually being widely used in complex surface design.With the development of science and technology,the popularization of computer technology,and the continuous updating of digital construction technology,design techniques have begun to appear different from the past.Polygonal modeling technology is increasingly important for complex shape modeling.From the formal graphical analysis,natural form imitation and cross-border thinking fusion,we can get a glimpse of the relationship between the topological "life" and "shape".Fluid space fusion,parametric technology synergy and complex scientific thinking intervention in modern surface topology space is a new trend in current design evolution.Polygon modeling technology has a unique role in spatial structure,construction logic and complex morphological shaping,and also has an irreplaceable advantage in the control function of design details.The realization path of complex surface construction can be divided into three parts: computational design,numerical control machining and robot construction.The characteristics of precision,simplicity and high efficiency are the key points.These advantages play a key role in the popularization of polygon modeling technology.Finally,taking the application of complex surfaces in space design as the practical object,analyzing and summarizing the application ideas and shape strategies of polygon modeling technology at home and abroad,and experimenting with complex surface generation process and construction logic,it is expected to provide complex surfaces in display.The reference experience applied in space design makes polygon modeling technology play a greater role in interior design related practice.
