The Research Of Man-machine Interface Of Household Products Based On Topological Relations

Man-machine interface is a media, by which man and machine can transfer and exchange information. In recent years, as humanity home environment is gradually mainstream of the society, the voice for harmony home environment and its personalized demand is higher and higher and custom conception of household products is prosperity, whether information's communication of the man-machine interface of household products is smooth or not has increasingly become the focus concerned. But the present study mainly focuses on the narrow man-machine interface, unable to effectively guide the design of man-machine interface of household products. And at the same time there are varieties of household products and manual operations, so we urgently need a theory or method to guide the design of man-machine interface of household products. This paper solves the problem by reasonably using the theory which is four Yuan space topological relations model.This paper presents four Yuan space topological relations model, by which household products and space are classified and the common characteristics of man-machine interface are analyzed and studied in each category, so a theory system about design of human-machine interface of household products is attained finally. In the process of establishing man-machine interface of household products systems, contents of this paper include: the scope and content of human-machine interface are defined and the theory of topological relations is summarized and promoted; the household products are summarized and classified, and the indoor space is defined innovatively; the model of topological relations is introduced into the defined household products and space and then the man-machine model is constructed, which gets man-machine interface under eight topological relations and the range of their space and household product; this paper has a detailed analysis on man-machine interface of household products under eight topological relations from defining range of Man-machine interface to it's contents, and presents the principle of the design of man-machine interface; eventually development and trend about man-machine interface of household products is predicted and described along with the influence of topological relations between household products and space.The significance of this paper is: to construct theoretical system of Human-Machine Interface Design System about household products, which can be precise and clear to serve for design, and can also shorten the time of collecting important content when the design staff does a job such as the man-machine interface design; to guide research direction of HMI of household products no one involved, and to guide more people to do more in-depth research on the content of man-machine interface under topological relations, as the contents of HMI under this topological relations are not very in-depth study; and to favor grasping the development trends of man-machine interface design about household products.
