A Formula racing car is an extremely fast vehicle with advanced technologies such as power,braking,handling stability,body safety and aerodynamics.Formula SAE Competition((FSAE)for Chinese College Students is a stage for students majoring in vehicle engineering to show their comprehensive technology.With the development of electric,intelligent and networked automobiles,the pure electric formula racing competition(FSEC)has been included in the official competitions.The research on the overall design,system development and safety performance of the electric racing car can lay a good foundation for the improvement of the overall performance of the vehicle.It has important practical significance and application value to promote the progress of formula racing car in our country.This paper mainly carries out work from the following aspects:(1)Based on CATIA software and ergonomics theory,the overall design of the racing car is carried out with manipulation stability as the design goal.The whole vehicle model is constructed,including power system,frame,body,suspension,braking,steering and electrical system.(2)Based on Hypereorks software and finite element(FEA)theory,the static analysis of frame structure under full load bending,emergency braking,rapid turning and full load torsion is carried out.The modal analysis of the frame is also carried out in free mode to verify the safety of the frame structure.(3)Based on ADAMS/Car software and vehicle dynamics theory,the suspension system is simulated by double-wheel co-direction runout(+30mm)dynamic simulation.The influence of suspension structure parameters on front wheel alignment,wheelbase and roll center is analyzed.Finally,the suspension performance optimization is carried out by combining ADAMS/Insight.(4)According to the requirements on the power performance and economy of racing cars,the parameters of power system are matched,and the whole power system is determined according to the requirements of racing events.In Optimum Lap software,the models of racing car and track are established,FSAE race conditions are analyzed,and the transmission ratio is optimized.(5)Using CRUISE software to establish the vehicle simulation model,the maximum speed of the car,75m linear acceleration performance,endurance mileage and other conditions were simulated and analyzed.The rationality of parameter matching of power system is verified.(6)In order to ensure safety and meet the requirements of competition rules,complete the design of vehicle electrical system,including high-voltage drive system,low-voltage control system and safety circuit electrical system.(7)According to the above research content,the actual vehicle is manufactured and relevant checks are carried out to verify the feasibility of theoretical design.The results of this study can provide technical reference for pure electric formula racing car.
