Heritage value is the embodiment of the core value of the Grande Canale culture belt,cultural landscape is a special type of cultural heritage.Canal cultural landscape is the combination of water environment and human culture,the resulting cultural landscape is also known as the water culture landscape.Yangzhou is one of the important cities along the Grande Canale,and the Yangzhou section of the Grande Canale is the earliest river segment excavated in the Grande Canale.It is also the most abundant site with the most heritage points,the most comprehensive elements and the most abundant heritage types.There are very rich and valuable contents and elements in the water culture landscape.Based on the protection planning of Yangzhou section of the Grand Canal,the basic elements of heritage in Yangzhou section of the Grand Canal are translated into the elements of hydro-cultural landscape.The gradient theory is introduced to classify the water cultural landscape,analyze the characteristics and protection principles ofpoint,and construct the model of the water cultural landscape cascade protection Through the design of the ancient Hangou water cultural landscape,it provides the basic support for the "iving protection,utilization and inheritance of Yangzhou section under the construction of the Canal Cultural Belt.At the same time,it has reference value for other river sections.
