Heritage Protection Research Of Traditional Rural Cultural Landscape

The traditional village is one of the most important carrier to inherit our excellenthistory culture and to continue the historical context, which reflects the continuation anddevelopment of human’s thousands years history, so it is an important cultural resource.More than half of China’s cultural heritage located in the traditional village, which containsnot only material of organic carrier such as village morphology, space environment,architectural style, but also contains intangible cultural patterns such as Lifestyle, cultureconcept and historical legends. However, with China’s large-scale urbanization and tourismpromoting, the traditional rural landscape is being massive destructed, which lead to thedisappearance of the quaint country style. In order to solve villages’ problems caused bydevelopment of the times. Many domestic scholars dedicated to traditional country, byprotecting and deep exploring geographical and cultural characteristics, the unique culturalvalues are protected and heritaged.First, based on the traditional village and by referring to foreign advanced ideas, andstarting from the concept and evolution of the cultural landscape, this article analysis the"Nature and mankind works in the view of culture. By summarizing the basiccharacteristics of traditional rural cultural landscape and analyzing the main problems intraditional country at this stage, under the premise of ensuring the integrity of thelandscape style and historical and cultural continuity, based on the previous research on thecultural landscape, conservation-oriented direction has been established, traditional ruralcultural landscape is about to be studied. The research method is to divide the culturallandscape into two categories—material and non-material landscape, traditional ruralcultural landscape material and non-material carriers are listed one by one while a detailedanalysis and discourse is also given turning abstract to concrete and changing macro tomicro. Then, using landscape imagery, imitation theory, landscape regeneration and relatedtheories, the basic principles of traditional rural cultural landscape heritage are determined,in the conservation and tourism development process, the ideas of maintaining andcontinuing the characteristics of local culture landscape design, and the extraction methodof country symbols are studied and summarized. Finally, the Qingyuan Ranzhuang culturallandscape protection and tourism development is taken as a example, the above-mentionedresearch results are applied to the practice of protecting the traditional rural culturallandscape heritage, so the scientific and feasibility of the above research are verified.The cultural landscape is a dynamic process of development, not only the integrity ofthe cultural heritage left over by history needs to be protected, the existence of newproblems under new situation also needed to be faced squarely. This paper aims at exploring a set of specific ways and means on protecting and heritaging the rural culturallandscape, raising the thinking on traditional rural cultural landscape at this stage, andgiving a outlook on traditional rural landscape development path. I hope this study have apositive role in promoting the development of rural tourism and the continuation of theurban context, and make contribution in building a beautiful Chinese.
