With the accelerating process of urbanization in our country, major cities are paying more and more attention to the rapid development of urban rail transit on the basis of the development of traditional economic models.Urban public transport infrastructure is becoming more and more perfect, and the daily travel demand of urban residents is also increasing day by day. However, problems such as traffic congestion, the increase of traffic accidents and the low quality of travel have also been brought along.Due to the densely populated city and the shortage of public resources,it is not suitable to vigorously develop private cars and other modes of personal transportation. The modern urban public transportation mode has its unique advantages(such as high efficiency, environmental protection and other characteristics),which has become a guarantee for slow blocking, smooth transportation, green we go and support for the development of public transportation facilities in large cities.Starting from the actual situation of limited traffic capacity of roads in medium and large cities, this paper focuses on the behavior of public transportation on roads, combining the characteristics of rail transportation(subway)(large volume, fast speed, low pollution, etc.)with the characteristics of other conventional forms of public transportation(flexible and convenient route setting, etc.),Through discussing the characteristics of urban traffic forms and the problems of congestion, accidents and air pollution existing in the rapid development of China's public transportation system, this paper puts forward the fundamental way out to solve the traffic problems in large and medium-sized cities in China, that is,the public transportation system and the rail system should be deeply integrated while vigorously developing rail transportation,so as to realize smooth connection between the two. When discussing the needs and behaviors of transfer, combining with the level of traffic service, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of different transfer behaviors, compares the transfer needs and traffic participation of daily commuters, and obtains three main factors(transfer time, distance and waiting time)that affect residents' behaviors during the transfer process between public buses and subways.Effective connection between subway and public transportation is realized.By analyzing the factors such as station layout, platform transfer mode and transfer time, the objective function T of passenger transfer time and transfer influence coefficient K are defined. At the same time, according to the analysis results, corresponding measures to improve transfer efficiency are listed from the aspects of reducing walking time, reducing transfer obstacles in the station, reducing queuing waiting time, etc. Finally, taking Taibainanlu station in Xi'an Metro Line 3 as an example, this paper mainly discusses the effective connection between it and conventional public transportation from the point of view of station connection, analyzes the traffic conditions set up in different station forms, compares the time parameters of various transfer states, and finally puts forward an efficient transfer scheme to realize the reasonable setting of stations outside the station and the optimization of line facilities inside the station,so as to maximize the role of public transportation and provide an effective reference socheme for the optimization of urban public transportation.By analyzing the connection between rail transit and conventional public transport, this paper realizes the effective coordination and management of the two, which will help to improve the operation efficiency and service level of urban public transport and enhance passenger traffic satisfaction.
