The moment of inertia of rigid body is an important parameter that affects the work of the system.Especially in the fields of weapon system,engineering machinery,aerospace and automobile,the accuracy of the moment of inertia has an important influence on the movement,positioning and control of the measured object system.In the field of aerospace,the measurement of Missile Inertia can provide an important basis for missile research,design and analysis.However,the missile's performance is more and more excellent,and its structure is more and more complex.It is difficult to obtain its moment of inertia accurately by theoretical calculation alone.At present,the main method to obtain the moment of inertia is the experimental method,that is,the instrument is used to measure the moment of inertia.Based on the traditional three-wire pendulum method,the moment of inertia of a missile is measured by the theory of moment of inertia.The measurement system obtains the experimental data of several groups of swing periods through many experiments.Combining with the measurement data of tension sensor and photoelectric sensor,the theoretical formula is used to calculate the rotational inertia of the measured object.The above is the specific method for measuring the rotational inertia of rigid body in this system.The main purpose of this study is to design a moment of inertia measurement system.Main contents include: Analyzing the principle of three-wire pendulum method to measure object's inertia and establishing three-dimensional model;Design of mechanical structure of inertia measurement system and selection of experimental parts and equipment;GUI design and programming of inertia measurement system;System.Simulation test and error analysis.After completing the overall design,the simulation test is carried out.It can be concluded that the measurement accuracy and efficiency of the inertia measurement system are relatively high,the stability is good,and the operation is simple.It can be widely used in scientific research and production fields such as aerospace,weapon system,engineering machinery and precision instruments.
