If the product want to win in a large number of homogenized market competition under the impact of technological innovation and globalization,the innovation in user experience is an important breakthrough.A measure of the emotional changes that occur during the user experience can effectively evaluate the user experience of a product.At present,the quantification of user experience is usually achieved by subjective evaluation,but the difference in individual cognition has caused some deviations from the results of experience evaluation.In order to solve this problem and better guide the design of product user experience,this study proposed a user experience design method based on perceptual cognitive state under the framework of cognitive neuroscience theory,kansei engineering technology and EPI(Expectation、Progression、Influence)user experience modelFirst,the EPI user experience model was used to decompose the user experience in three phases:Expectation、Progression and Influence.The user experience elements of each phase were summarized as appearance,interaction and satisfaction.The user experience element in each phase was quantified by three methods:the product appearance cognitive experiment of eye movement and Electroencephalograph(EEG),the interaction task cognitive experiment of EEG and the overall satisfaction evaluation method.These methods constituted a quantitative system of user experience elements based on physiological measurement.User experience elements about appearance in the expectation phase:The product design elements were analyzed and reorganized to generate a new scheme as a cognitive experiment sample;A product appearance cognitive experiment of eye movement and EEG was performed to obtain physiological cognitive information of the eye-brain synchronization of the subject.User experience elements about interaction in the progression phase:The same family of products with different interaction processes were selected as a sample of experiment,and interactive tasks were set;The interaction task cognitive experiment of EEG was conducted to obtain objective EEG physiological information.User experience elements about satisfaction in the influence phase:A self-measurement scale was developed based on the remaining user experience elements in the EPI user experience model.This method,the System Usability Scale(SUS)and the Net Promoter Score(NPS)were used to quantify the overall user experience of the productNext,three user experience evaluation models for kansei image score,interactive emotional experience score and overall satisfaction score were established based on physiological data.Evaluation model about product appearance for the expectation phase:The eye movement indexes associated with the kansei experience were determined through the homogeneity analysis of variance and one-way variance analysis;The EEG indexes were determined through the time-frequency analysis and the ERP component extraction;A single dependent variable partial least squares method was used to construct a product image evaluation model containing eye-brain cognitive information.Evaluation model about emotional experience of interactive task for the progression phase:Based on the Power Spectral Density analysis(PSD)and the event-related synchronization/desynchronization theory,characteristic values were calculated;Correlation between the EEG characteristic value and the emotional experience of interactive tasks were judged by Pearson Correlation Coefficient;the partial least squares regression(PLS)was selected to construct an calculation model.Evaluation model about satisfaction for the influence phase:Three scales constituted the overall satisfaction evaluation model of product user experience.Three evaluation models based on three different user experiences finally constitutes a user experience evaluation model which based on eye-brain indicatorsFinally,based on the case of smartphones,the user experience evaluation performance of each model was verified,and the user experience design method was practiced.The results show that the proposed user experience evaluation model can achieve an evaluation effect similar to the subj ective evaluation,and the result bias is smaller.The smartphone user experience evaluation model based on perceptual cognitive state is used to verify the evaluation of products.The obtained relevant quantitative data provides design guidance for improving the user experience of the smartphone,and forms a user experience design method based on physiological data.The method proposed in this study is capable of predicting quantitative data of product user experience relatively stable and objectively.It avoids the uncertainty that subj ective evaluation may bring.Provide reliable and obj ective data support for product user experience design.Help design decision makers and designers design better products.
