| The traffic congestion during rush hour is an important factor restricting the sustainable development of cities. It not only affects the allocation of urban infrastructure, but also penetrates into all aspects of urban spatial layout. With the development of industrial clusters in mega-cities and the strengthening of functional division of labor in employment areas, the spatial differences of employment groups and corresponding commuting behaviors are becoming more and more obvious. Therefore, from the perspective of comparative analysis of employment zones, this paper studies the characteristics and influencing factors of urban residents’ commuting behavior, which is of great significance to interpret residents’ occupational and residential preferences and commuting needs, and provides a reference for guiding urban spatial layout and transportation infrastructure allocation.Four typical employment areas in Shenzhen are selected.Based on data resources such as questionnaire survey data, social security address data and POI data, the following aspects of research are carried out:1.Using statistical yearbook data and POI data of Gaode Map to analyze the spatial structure of urban employment in Shenzhen,it is found that the distribution of employment posts and enterprises in Shenzhen is obviously unbalanced, showing a multi-center distribution situation, and the spatial distribution characteristics of different industries are different.2.Four employment zones with different industrial backgrounds are selected as the study area.Based on the sample of questionnaire survey, the basic characteristics of commuting groups and the differences of commuting behavior characteristics in different employment zones are compared and analyzed. The results show that there are similarities and differences among commuting groups in different employment zones, and there are obvious differences in commuting behavior characteristics and occupational and residential space between different employment groups. The social and economic attributes of commuters are closely related.3.In order to understand the impact mechanism of commuting behavior of commuting groups in different employment areas, structural equation models of four employment areas were constructed, focusing on the relationship between commuters’ personal attributes, occupational and residential characteristics, and the location conditions of residential areas and commuting time, commuting distance and commuting mode, and making comparative analysis. The results show that there are great differences in commuting influence mechanism in different employment areas.Because of the different social and economic backgrounds of commuting groups in different employment areas, there are differences in commuting mode and living space choice, which affect the distribution of commuting distance and commuting time. |
