The urban road intersection is the throat of the urban road transportation network,which is an important guarantee for the flexibility of the urban road transportation network.It plays an indispensable key role for urban road traffic.Traffic problems in urban roads are mainly concentrated in intersections in the spatial dimension.It mainly occur during signal transitions in the time dimension.As the most important participant in the road transportation system,the driver's behavioral decisions directly affect traffic safety.Different yellow light signal transition forms will inevitably have a certain impact on the physiological psychology of driver.Thus,it can be affect their behavioral decisions during the yellow light at the intersection.This study used the real vehicle experiment method,combined with Ergo LAB physiological psychology instrument,I-View HED4 eye tracker,V-BOX speedometer,respectively.The physiological and psychological characteristics of the driver under different yellow light signal transition forms were collected.The driver's eye movement characteristic indicator data and vehicle operating characteristic indicator data were analyzed.The safety type,general type and dangerous type,descriptive statistics,correlation analysis,box type diagram,vertical line diagram,bar chart and error line were used to different types,respectively.The vehicle operating characteristic index data and physiological psychological index and the eye movement index data under different yellow light signal transition forms of driver were analyzed.The behavioral characteristics maps of different types under different yellow light signal transition forms were constructed.The influence degree of different yellow light signal transition forms on different types of driver behavior decision-making was manifested in a deeper level.Furthermore,the driving behavior characteristic index with time as the horizontal element axis was variable as the longitudinal element axis.The dangerous driver was constructed when the yellow light signal transition form was combined with 9 seconds green light flashing and countdown.In the signal information recognition and the signal behavior decision segment,the drivingbehavior characteristic map when parking or proceeding to the intersection decision was made.The safety driver is used as the control group to further analyze the two types of drivers in the yellow light.The difference of driving behavior characteristics in the form of signal transitions was analyzed.This study started from the driver's point of view based on the classification of the driver was analyzed.The physiological and psychological changes and driving behavior characteristics of different types of drivers during the yellow light at the intersection were analyzed.The different yellow light signal transition moded for the driver.The results of this study have important practical significance for solving the traffic safety problem during the yellow light in the intersection.
