With the increase of extreme weather,transmission line icing has seriously threatened the safe operation of power grid.For a long time,China has been one of the most severely affected countries in the world.The heavy snow in 2008 caused huge losses to the Southern Power Grid.Ice melting line equipment has become the most direct and effective means to deal with ice damage.Among many ice melting methods,DC technology is undoubtedly the best one.Based on the analysis of the principle of DC deicing technology and the different operation modes of DC ice melting,the design and key technologies of DC deicing device are studied in depth.Taking the 500kV Chengzi substation as an object of study,the experimental simulation system is built by PSCAD/EMTDC.The DC output voltage and active power isoparametric value of the corresponding lines are obtained by simulation checking.The master’s thesis on the design and control of vehicle ice melting device is studied.This topic has a good value of engineering application and promotion.The main work of this master’s thesis is as follows:Firstly,the main technical characteristics and application scope of AC and DC ice-melting technologies are given by analyzing the relevant parameters of DC and AC ice-melting for transmission lines under different voltage levels.On this basis,the comparative analysis of different capacity prototypes is carried out.Secondly,based on the technology project of 500kV Chengzi DC ice melting device,the design of DC ice melting device,control system technology,controllable valve technology,forced air cooling system and so on are deeply analyzed.Third,taking the 500kV Chengzi substation as an object of study,set up its data model and build an experimental simulation system with PSCAD/EMTDC.Through simulation analysis,the overall performance of DC ice melting device is evaluated and analyzed.
