Image Research And Cultural Creative Design Based On The Traditional Chinese "Quixing" Under The Imperial Examination System

The imperial examination system sprouted in the late Southern and Northern Dynasties,was founded in the Sui Dynasty,formed in the Tang Dynasty,the Five Kingdoms and the Five Dynasties,was completed in the two Song dynasties,fixed in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties,and abolished in the late Qing Dynasty.Some scholars believe that the imperial examination system is the fifth invention in China,and it is the longest-running and most influential selection system in ancient Chinese society.It has had a profound impact on Chinese history,social structure and cultural traditions.In the long history of the imperial examination system,a social ethos of "everything is good,but high in reading" has gradually formed.The imperial worship of imperial examinations led to the worship of imperial examination gods,and "Kuixing God" is a well-known deity among them.In the current society,the phenomenon of "praying the god of worship" still appears.The author believes that this is a heritage of folk culture.The "Kui Xing God" has still retained the "Kui Ge" and so on.This article will focus on sorting out the image of "Kui Xing God".As a kind of popular god at that time,"Kui Xing" tried to observe how the image and pattern of Kui Xing differed in various regions,and whether it was necessarily related to the region.So far,what forms of communication and carriers have been adopted,and what significance does their modeling characteristics have?Although "Kui Xing Shen" has been circulated to this day,it is far from being known to modern people like the type deity "Wen Chang Shen".This may be related to the "Kui Xingshen" shape.Based on this,this article combines the image characteristics of "Kui Xingshen" with modern cultural and creative products,and refines its modeling characteristics and connotative meaning to analyze how to properly use "Kui Xingshen" in the field of graphic design in the current creative works.Disseminate China’s outstanding traditional culture.
