Throughout the Millennium culture of the Chinese nation,the cultural heritage of the Imperial Palace in Beijing has a strong cultural cohesion.It is the most representative symbolic memory and living cultural gene of Chinese culture,and transmits the unique cultural form and aesthetic concept of the Chinese nation.Since the concept of "let cultural relics live" was introduced by the Palace Museum in 2016,the nearly 600 year old Palace Museum has been active in the public vision with a young visual form.The series of cultural and creative products launched by the Imperial Palace in Beijing integrate various cultural genes such as the culture of the Imperial Palace,the architecture of the Imperial Palace,historical figures and so on.In combination with the context of modern design,they are innovated and reconstructed,which makes a positive exploration for the protection and inheritance of the cultural heritage of the Imperial Palace,and also provides opportunities and challenges for the development of other museum cultural and creative industries.This paper analyzes the cultural connotation,creative source and design path of the cultural creative products of the Imperial Palace in Beijing with a comprehensive and systematic research attitude.Based on the thinking of the form and meaning design,it grasps the aesthetics and emotion of the Imperial Palace culture,and explores the possibility of the integration of the design of the cultural creative products of the Imperial Palace and the idea of the form and meaning design.It also tries to analyze and explore the cultural creation of the Imperial Palace from the perspective of form and meaning,and build a new path of cultural creation design of the Imperial Palace with form and meaning as the design idea,which can be used as a reference and theoretical expansion for other museums to carry out cultural creation product design in the future,and provide new ideas and methods.Guided by the idea of form and meaning design,this paper takes the cultural and creative products of the Imperial Palace of Beijing as the research object,innovates the design concept and constructs the visual form,enriches the path of cultural and creative design,and improves the theory of form and meaning design.This paper is divided into five chapters with the main line of preliminary research,discussion of form and meaning,cultural creation,design application and development practice of the Imperial Palace.The first chapter is the introduction,which describes the background,significance,research status and other previous research information of the subject,which is the solid foundation of this paper.The second chapter describes the cultural origin of ideographic thinking,makes a more comprehensive definition of it,analyzes the visual form composition of ideographic design thinking from the three angles of the integration of shape,meaning and ideographic design thinking,analyzes the multi-dimensional composition of ideographic design thinking,and summarizes Its value significance.The third chapter makes a comprehensive definition of the cultural and creative products of Beijing Imperial Palace from the perspective of culture,and makes a systematic overview of the categories of graphic language,the status quo of design development,and development strategies in the design.The fourth chapter is based on the idea design thinking,focusing on the analysis of its design principles and expression methods in the design of cultural and creative products of the Imperial Palace in Beijing,and puts forward the method construction of cultural and creative design of the Imperial Palace Based on the idea design thinking.The last chapter is the practical application of this paper,through the summary of the form and meaning method in the early stage,according to the research results,select the appropriate theme of Beijing Imperial Palace,and carry out the design and landing of the cultural creation of the Imperial Palace,so as to further demonstrate the feasibility and applicability of the theoretical research.
