Paris polyphylla slowly grows,and it is about 5?6 years from the seed germination to flowering.The continuous cropping obstacles of polyphylla is serious.And the phenomenon of disordered collection is very serious in the main producing areas of polyphylla,which lead to the heavy damage of wild genetic resources.The suitable cultivation areas of polyphylla are screened and enlarged,which increase its supply.Above strategy is effective to alleviate the stress of polyphylla herb resource.Additionally,Fermentum Rubrum play important roles in the antihypertension,antidiabetics,and antineoplastic.The medicinal compositions are main Monaclin,Ergosterol,Biological flavonoids,Saponins,Dietary fiber,Amino acid polysaccharide and so on in the process of fermentation.Nevertheless,the strains are unstable in the cultivation of Fermentum Rubrum.The stability of strains affected the quality of microbial and derivative products.Thus,the stability and breeding of strains are equally important.Here,we first studied two primitive species of polyphylla based on the database of global geographic information,the distribution points of the main producing areas,global climate factor and soil.The Geographic Information System for Global Medicinal Plants(GMPGIS)was used to assess the global production and ecological adaptation of Paris polyphylla Smith var.Yunnanensis(Franch.)Hand.-Mazz and Paris polyphylla var.chinensis(Franch.)Hara.According to climate factors and soil types of polyphylla from sampling sites,which cover both traditional and current major producing regions,as well as on the results of the ecological similarity computing analysis,we obtained the maximum ecological similarity areas for polyphylla worldwide.The results indicated that the maximum ecological similarity areas of Paris polyphylla Smith var.Yunnanensis(Franch.)Hand.-Mazz and Paris polyphylla var.chinensis(Franch.)Hara were similar.In the world,they mainly distributed in the 19 countries,such as China,Brazil,America,Zambia,Cango,Burma,Tanzania,Angola,Bolivia and so on.Among in China,the maximum ecological similarity areas mainly contained 16 provinces,namely Yunnan,Sichuan,Guangxi,Hunan,Hubei,Guangdong,Guizhou,Jiangxi,Fujian and Anhui and so on.These data indicated that GMPGIS could be used in the introduction and production region of Chinese medicinal materials,and those quantitative results provided the basis of introduction and production region of polyphylla.This study used the method of Inter Simple Sequence Repeat to analyze the stability of Fermentum Rubrum.First,we screened the stable and special primers to amply the inter-simple sequence repeat(ISSR)of strains that have been handed for 30 generation.The object of study is to evaluate the stability of the germplasm.The results indicated that the primers of 834 and 840 were stable and special to analyze the germplasm of Fermentum Rubrum.The bands were 9 and 8 which were amplified used by the primers of 834 and 840,respectively.The consistency between the generations of Fermentum Rubrum is extremely high which suggest that the germplasms are stable in the process handing from generation to generation for 30 times.
