The traditional Chinese medicine major in higher vocational colleges plays an important role in the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine talents.However,due to the particularity of the talent training program,the training process is likely to result in expansion of the content of the training and the blurring of the boundaries,which seriously restricts the improvement of the eff-iciency and quality of talents training,and it is difficult to meet the needs of employers.Therefore,it is of great significance to apply the project scope management theory to carry out research on the talents training program of traditional Chinese medicine majors in higher vocational colleges so as to improve the quality of talents training and promote the healthy and rapid development of traditional Chinese medicine industry.In this paper,the author proposes a KTAQ(knowledge,technology,ability and quality)through combining the requirements of training technical skill talents and based on the KAQ talent training program.On this basis,the author defines the training scope of traditional Chinese medicine talents in higher vocational colleges by investigating the needs of employers.At last,the paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the "talent training program of the traditional Chinese medicine major in Baoshan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and puts forward a few suggestions for improvement.According to the project scope management theory,the paper suggests that"talent training program of the traditional Chinese medicine major in Baoshan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine" should be improved by strengthening research on the needs of township(community)hospitals,improving the curriculum structure,developing detailed assessment criteria,defining scope change control process,developing a system of stakeholder communication strategies,Establishing employment tracking mechanism and employment quality evaluation system.In addition,this paper is also aimed at providing reference for similar projects in the future.
