Clinical Observation Of Liu's Pediatric Massage Combined With Bobath Technique In The Treatment Of Spastic Pediatric Cerebral Palsy

Objective: To observe the improvement of motor function,degree of spasm and comprehensive function by Liu pediatric massage combined with Bobath technique in the treatment of spastic cerebral palsy(CP)in children.Methods: Ninety children with spastic CP were randomly divided into basic group,control group and observation group according to the random digital table,thirty cases in each group.The children in three groups were given reasonable diet and sleep guidance,based on this,the basic group was given Bobath technique,the control group was given ordinary massage combined with Bobath technique and the observation group was given Liu pediatric massage combined with Bobath technique.The three groups were treated with four weeks as one courses and lasted for three courses.Their 88 items of gross motor function scale(GMFM)score,modified Ashworth scale(MAS)score and comprehensive functional score of disabled children were observed and analyzed comparatively.Results:(1)After treatment,the GMFM-88 scores of the three groups were higher than those of the group before treatment(P<0.01);compared with the basic group,the GMFM-88 score in the control group and the observation group was better than that of the basic group(P < 0.05,P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference between the control group and the observation group(P > 0.05).(2)After treatment,the MAS scores of the three groups were lower than those of the group before treatment(P<0.01);compared with the basic group,the MAS score in the control group and the observation group was better than that of the basic group(P < 0.05,P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference between the control group and the observation group(P > 0.05).(3)After treatment,comprehensive functional scores of disabled children of the three groups were higher than those of the group before treatment(P< 0.01);compared with the basic group,the comprehensive functional score of disabled children in the control group and the observation group was better than that of the basic group(P < 0.05,P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference between the control group and the observation group(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Liu pediatric massage combined with Bobath technique can improve the gross motor function,alleviate the degree of limb spasm and enhance the comprehensive function in the treatment of spastic CP in children,which is better than the simple Bobath technique and equivalent to the common massage.It is an effective means of treating the spastic CP in children.
