Objective: Based on previous research,an objective assessment of the impact of comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the remission phase of cor pulmonale on long-term quality of patients' life. Methods: Among patients diagnosed with paracmasis of cor pulmonale, with multicenter,randomized,controlled,parallel-clinical trial,240 patients were randomly divided into two groups of treatment group(comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine)and control group(basic treatment).Included Patients for syndrome differentiation, treatment group added oral Chinese herbal decoction on the basis of Western medicine treatment(Can be added or subtracted on principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment),acupoint application therapy.Meanwhile the control group was given Western basic routine treatment. The course of treatment is two months, with one year follow-up at and after the end of the treatment, using syndrome comprehensive efficacy, pulmonary function(FEV1,FEV1/FVC),immunological parameters(IGA,IGG,complement C3)as evaluation indicators and the WHO Quality Of Life-Bref Scale(WHOQOLBREF)was used to evaluate the long-term quality of life of patients. Results: The total effective rate in the treatment group and the total effective rate in the control group were P<0.05 with a statistical difference. The clinical total curative effect between the four different syndromes of the two groups of patients,P>0.05,with no statistical difference. After treatment,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,IGA,and IGG were statistical different in the two groups,P<0.05.After treatment, the C3 value in the two groups had an upward trend compared with before treatment, but there was no statistical difference compared with P>0.05.After treatment, there was no statistical difference between the two groups,P> 0.05.The total improvement rate of the life quality scale of the treatment group was 92.5%;the control group is 86.4%,with which the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the overall effect of the treatment group wasbetter than that of the control group. In the comparison of the dimensions, the improvement of the physical dimension and psychological dimension of the treatment group was more obvious than that of the control group(P<0.05).But there was no significant difference in the improvement of social dimension and environmental dimension compared with the control group(P>0.05).Between specific syndromes, lung dimension deficiency syndrome,lung-kidney deficiency syndrome, lung and spleen deficiency syndrome,spleen-kidney deficiency syndrome treatment group and control group were compared in each dimension of scores of the quality of life scale(P<0.05),but physiological dimension scores and psychological dimension scores were statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions: Comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for patients with remission of pulmonary heart disease can significantly improve the long-term life quality of patients. The treatment group and the control group were effective in the treatment of pulmonary heart disease remission, and the efficacy of comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is even more outstanding. The two groups were divided into four different syndromes through traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation, and there is little difference in curative effect between the syndromes, which is the improvement of long-term quality of life. Both comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and basic treatment of Western medicine can improve the long-term quality of life of patients, but the comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in improving the long-term quality of life of patients with cor pulmonale remission compared with Western medicine treatment.
