A Comparative Study On The Characteristics Of Pulse Diagnosis Information Between Yang-deficiency Quality And Peaceful Quality In The Normal Population In Hunan

Objective: By using pulse diagnosis equipment and clinical questionnaires to collect a large number of pulse diagnosis parameters and basic information,a basic database of pulse diagnosis information including basic information and four diagnostic information was established combining TCM constitution and TCM pulse diagnosis.The parameters of the pulse diagnosis information of the healthy people between balanced constitution and Yang-deficiency constitution were compared,and the differences and connections between different genders and ages were analyzed.Methods: Pulse diagnosis information and basic information were collected from 1195 healthy people through pulse diagnosis instruments and clinical questionnaires.After physique classification was performed,the pulse diagnosis information of 529 healthy people of balanced constitution and 132 healthy people of Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution was compared.After the pulse diagnosis information transformed to frequency domain diagram by fast Fourier trans form(FFT),the intensity value from the first harmonic to the sixth harmonic was extracted,and the percentage value was taken after the normalization process.(1)The parameters of pulse diagnosis information of the health y people between Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution and balanced constitution were compared;(2)The parameters of pulse diagnosis information of the healthy people between Yang-deficiency-included biased constitution and balanced constitution were compared;(3)The parameters of pulse diagnosis information of the healthy people between Yang-deficiency constitution and Yang-deficiency-included biased constitution were compared;(4)The parameters of pulse diagnosis information of the healthy people between differe nt gender in Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution were compared;(5)The parameters of pulse diagnosis information of the healthy people among different age groups in balanced constitution and Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution were compared.Results:(1)There is a difference in the first harmonic(C1)in the parameters of pulse diagnostic information between Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution and balanced constitution(p<0.05);(2)There is a difference in the third harmonic(C3)in the parameters of the pulse diagnostic information between Yang-deficiency-included biased constitution and balanced constitution(p<0.05);(3)There is no difference in the parameters of pulse diagnostic information between Yang-deficiency constitution and Yang-deficiency-included biased constitution(p>0.05);(4)The first harmonic(C1)and the third harmonic(C3)were significantly different(p<0.01)in the parameters of pulse diagnostic between male and female in the healthy population of Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution;(5)There is significant difference in the parameters of pulse diagnostic information among different age groups between balanced constitution and Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution.The difference is in the first harmonic(C1),the third harmonic(C3),the fourth harmonic(C4),and the fifth harmonic(C5),and both have the same trend with age.Conclusions: The pulse diagnostic instrument can distinguish the Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution from balanced constitution,with the first harmonic(C1)and the third harmonic(C3).The differences presented by the Yang-deficiency-based biased constitution might owning to biased constitution and gender.Pulse diagnostic parameters change regularly with age.
