This article is divided into three parts: literature review, systematic review and clinical research.Chapter 1 literature review about the research progress of coronary heart disease(CHD)with anxiety and depressionFirst, the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of CHD with anxiety and depression were summarized.Secondly, the pathogenesis and treatment of the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)of the disease were summarized by reviewing the classical theories and treatises. Finally, combining above content with modern TCM clinical research aimed to provide evidence of application of "Cong-Gan-Lun-Zhi"("CGLZ")method in CHD with anxiety and depression.Chapter 2 A systematic review: application of "CGLZ" method in CHD with anxiety and depression Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the application of "CGLZ" method in CHD with anxiety and depression. Methods:Manual retrieval with computer retrieval were used to retrieve literatures related to the application of "CGLZ" method in CHD with anxiety and depression. The retrieval time is from the earliest recorded time of the database to January 2018.Results:1275 cases were included in 16 randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Meta analysis showed that the "CGLZ" method treatment groups were more effective than the control group in improvement of angina pectoris,HAMA anxiety score,HAMD depression score and TCM syndrome score. There was no serious adverse reaction in the study. Conclusion:The systematic review above the "CGLZ" method treatment groups were more effective than the control group in improvement of angina pectoris,HAMA anxiety score,HAMD depression score and TCM syndrome score and the "CGLZ" method has a certain safety. However, due to the small sample size and some shortcomings in the clinical methodology, more high quality RCTs are needed in the future.Chapter 3 Clinical observation of "CGLZ" method treating CHD unstable angina pectoris(UA)with anxiety and depression Objective:To observe the effect of "CGLZ" method treating "Qi-Zhi-Xue-Yu"("QZXY")type UA with anxiety and depression in angina pectoris,HAMA anxiety score,HAMD depression score,TCM syndrome score, total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL)and high density lipoprotein(HDL).Methods:60 UA with anxiety and depression patients were enrolled from the cardiovascular department of Shenzhen TCM hospital. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The control group was given basic treatment of CHD and anti-anxiety and depression treatment. The observation group was given "CGLZ" method and the treatment of the control group.Course of treatment were 4 weeks. The symptoms of angina,HAMA score,HAMD score and TCM syndrome score were recorded before and after treatment. The plasma level of TG,TC,LDL and HDL were examined on the enrolled day and the early morning after the end of treatment. The analysis was carried out by statistical software(SSPS20.0).Results:1.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in sex ratio, age, complication, angina pectoris,HAMA score,HAMD score,TCM syndrome score, and plasma level of TC,TG.LDL,HDL of two groups.2.After treatment, two groups of angina,HAMA score,HAMD score,TCM syndrome score and TC,LDL level were significantly improved. At the same time, the indexes above of the observation group were superior to those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant. Conclusion:"CGLZ" method can improve angina pectoris, anxiety, depression,TCM symptoms and reduce plasma level of TC and LDL in UA with anxiety and depression patients."CGLZ" method has a certain safety.
