Objective To explore the mechanism mechanism of Frankincense-myrrh pair(FMP)on Hyperplasia of mammary glands(HMG)by a network pharmacology approach.Method Collect FMP's compounds by traditional Chinese Medicine databases and input them into PharmMapper to get their potential targets, and collect the known targets of compounds by Scifinder. Then do KEGG-pathway analysis by DAVID database. Finally draw and analyze the network by Cytoscape by information above.Result 1.FMP mainly contains 51 active ingredients such as mastic acid, incensol, myrosterone and mansobinic acid, which correspond to 271 targets, such as androgen receptor, cytochrome P450,microtubuleassociated tau protein, estrogen receptor, steroid 17alpha-hydroxylase/17,20 lyase, glucocorticoid receptor, salt corticoid receptor,etc.2.There are six signaling pathways related to the treatment of HMG by FMP,which are steroid hormone biosynthesis, androgen and estrogen metabolism, vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)signaling pathway,ErB signaling pathway,mTOR signaling pathway and steroid biosynthesis signaling pathway through enrichment.3.There are 14 biological processes involved in the treatment of HMG by FMP.The enrichment levels are steroid metabolism, response to hormone stimulation, steroid biosynthesis, response to steroid stimulation, steroid metabolism, hormone regulation, hormone metabolism, response to estrogen stimulation, estrogen generation.Metabolic process, sterol biosynthesis process, response to corticosteroid stimulation, steroid receptor signaling pathway, response to estradiol stimulation, estrogen biosynthesis process Conclusion Through the network pharmacological analysis of FMP,the related signaling pathways and biological processes of FMP in the treatment of HMG preliminarily were found. The mechanisms involved in inhibiting the proliferation of mammary gland cells, promoting apoptosis and autophagy, inhibiting inflammation and angiogenesis, etc.,which reflected the FMP in the "multi-component,multi-target and multipathway" prescription.Facing the therapeutic effect ofHMG,it may provide important basis for understanding the synergistic effect and the exact molecular mechanism of frankincense and Myrrh on each effective component.
