Since modern times,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has gradually spread around the world,and there has been a clear phenomenon of "localization",forming a special type of "Chinese Medicine Group",that is,"Local Chinese Medicine." However,How is the "Local Chinese Medicine" ?What is the difference between TCM and "Local Chinese Medicine" ? What is the significance of its existence?This research uses the multidisciplinary research method of TCM and Culturology,Anthropology,Communication,to takes the cultural variation group produced by TCM overseas as the research target.Taking "Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture" as a research case,through participates in "Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture Course",E-mail interviews,audios and videos and combined with literature research,from the form and formation of "Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture",explore the nature of "Local Chinese Medicine" cultural change phenomenon,and analyze the significance of "Local Chinese Medicine" cross-cultural communication of TCM,domestic TCM group,and practice of Chinese medicine anthropology provides scientific observation for promoting the internationalization of TCM.These anthropological observations reveal the theoretical form of "Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture" and its formation in social culture.Relying on Oriental Medicine,"Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture" is a "natural therapy" that can satisfy the Western cultural imagination and has a strong oriental character.Founder Peter Eckman was influenced by the open multiculturalism of the United States.He integrated all kinds of acupuncture and oriental medicine he had learned,and created“Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture”as a platter.This is the interaction between Chinese culture and the audience culture in the process of cross-cultural communication.The recipients play their initiative,and after the adjustment of the meaning,the inter-culturality of the communicator-audience “dual subject” "The product." "Local Chinese Medicine" is essentially a phenomenon of cultural change in the process of Western medicine in Chinese medicine."Constitutional/Conditional Acupuncture" is a typical representative.Based on this case study,it is recommended to fully understand the "Local Chinese Medicine" group,correctly grasp its influence and significance on the development of TCM at home and abroad,intervene in relevant research in multidisciplinary and multi-disciplinary fields,explore its cross-cultural communication significance,and establish a broader context in the context of globalization.The concept of medical culture and a more adaptive communication path promote the understanding and blending between cultures and stimulate the innovation and dissemination of Chinese medicine culture.
