Professor Jiang Shumin's Academic Thoughts And Clinical Experience In The Treatment Of Peptic Ulcer Disease

Peptic ulcer is also known as gastric and duodenal ulcer.As a kind of psychosomatic disease,it is closely related to our life.Peptic ulcers are known to most people in the world.Under the current medical level,peptic ulcers rarely threaten the lives of patients as long as it is treated accurately and timely.But its recurrent pain,refractory,and complications suffer the patients physically and psychologically,thus greatly reducing the quality of life.On the contrary,bad mood can induce and aggravate the condition of peptic ulcer.Therefore,peptic ulcer should be treated with psychosomatic treatment.The model of medicine has gradually evolved into the bio-psycho-social medical model,which is coinciding with correspondence between man and universe and concept of holism of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The biological factors of the patients are the starting point for the treatment of the disease,but their related psychological,environmental and social factors are the root causes of the disease.My tutor,Professor Jiang Shumin,has benefited from Professor Li Yuqi and Professor Zhou Xuewen.He summarized and developed his academic thoughts after more than thirty years of clinical research.My teacher thinks that we should not be chained to disease itself in the the treatment of certain disease,but understand the patient's condition with a macro perspective.Treating diseases and eliminating the evil factors,at the same time remembering to cultivate physical and mental condition.For the treatment of peptic ulcer,My tutor put forward the "treatment from the aspect of carbuncle".But the treatment is not restrained to this "carbuncle",syndrome differentiation should also be inolved.The repair of ulcers also includes improving its pathological basis.Thus,the cure rate is effectively increased and the recurrence rate is reduced.
