Objective: To observe the latency and amplitude of the Contact Heat Evoked Potential(CHEPs)produced by CHEPs stimulator, mild pressing and moderate pressing on the LT10 of the normal hand, andtoexplorethemechanismofthenerveconductioneffectoffingerpressingonthe LT10 ofthehand. Methods: From May 2019 to July 2019,16 healthy adults were recruited from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University. Each volunteer signed a consent form after receiving a complete explanation of the purpose and design of the study. To detect, observe and compare the latency and amplitude differences of CHEPs produced by CHEPs stimulator, mild pressing and moderate pressingrespectively.Results:1.CHEPs latency (1)N latency The latency of N wave in the light compression group was 134.13 ms longer than hat in the CHEPs group, and that in the middle compression group was 120.69 ms longer than that in the CHEPs group. The CHEPs group was statistically significant compared with the light compression group andthemediumcompressiongroup.(2)P latency Thelatencyof Pwaveinthelightcompressiongroupwas138.63 mslongerthanthat in the CHEPs group, and that in the middle compression group was 149.13 ms longer than that in the CHEPs group. The CHEPs group was statistically significant compared with the light compression group andthemediumcompressiongroup.2.Cheps amplitude The N wave amplitude of CHEPs group was not statistically significant compared with that of light compression group and medium compression group(P > 0.05);the P wave amplitude of CHEPs group was not statistically significant compared with that of light compression group and medium compression group(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)According to the wave form, amplitude and incubation period,it is confirmed that CHEPs can be induced by nerve fiber conduction with slower conduction velocity when light and medium finger pressing act on the LT10 on the body surface;(2)It is confirmed that Deqi is mainly mediated by fibers with smaller diameter according to the latent period is longer when the finger pressing method acts on the LT10 on the body surface.
