Objective:Summarize the results of intervention in AIDS treatment from the per spective of immune reconstruction, analyze the role of traditional Chinese medi cine in intervening AIDS immune reconstruction, improve the symptoms associa ted with HIV/AIDS patients, improve the quality of life of patients, and allevia te the suffering of patients.Therapeutic research provides methods and experien ce,provides a preliminary basis for formulating a more comprehensive Chinese and Western AIDS treatment strategy, and promotes the further development of national Chinese medicine treatment of AIDS.Methods: Using retrospective analysis method, according to the inclusion criteri a,from January 2012 to January 2019,the AIDS project carried out at the Thir d People's Hospital of Hengyang,Hunan Province, screened out 187 AIDS pati ents who met the criteria, according to whether the combination of traditional Chinese medicine treatment plan Divided into simple western medicine group a nd traditional Chinese and western medicine group. The medical records of the patients included in the group were compared and analyzed. The follow-up poi nts were taken before treatment,12 months,24 months, and 36 months. The total s cores of symptoms and signs,CD4 + lymphocyte count, and Karnovsky score were observed. The change of the base score is compared with the efficiency o f immune reconstruction and the efficiency of symptoms and signs.Statistical a nalysis was performed using SPSS23.0 software.Results:1.Change in total score of symptoms and signs: The total score of symptoms a nd signs of the Western medicine group decreased at all time points compared with before treatment.Among them, the differences at the 12 th and 24 th month s were statistically significant than before treatment(P <0.05),and the 36 th m onth had no statistics than before treatment.Academic significance(P> 0.05).The scores of symptoms and signs of the Chinese and Western medicine groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(all P<0.05),and the decr ease in the 24 th and 36 th months was significantly better than that of the Western medicine group in the same period(P <0.05).2.CD4 + lymphocyte count changes: The CD4 + counts of the two groups at each time point were significantly higher than before treatment(P <0.05),and the growth of the Chinese and Western medicine group at 36 months was signi ficantly better than that of the Western medicine group at the same period(P<0.05).3.Variations of Karnovsky points: Except for the 12 th month, the Karnovsky sc ore of the Western medicine group decreased compared with that before treatme nt,and there was no statistically significant difference at each time point(P>0.05).After treatment at each time point, the TCM and Western medicine grou ps were higher than before treatment, except for the 12 th month, the difference s were statistically significant(P <0.05),and the 24 th and 36 th months were c ompared with the Western medicine group at the same period. It is statistically significant(P <0.05).4.Efficacy evaluation of total symptoms and signs: The effective rate of the tot al score of symptoms and signs(81.89%)in the TCM and WM groups was sig nificantly higher than that in the WM group(76.05%),and the difference betw een the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comparison of the efficiency of immune reconstruction: The effective rate of the western medicine group was about 42.25%,which was significantly lower than the traditional Chinese and western medicine group by 57.76%(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Western medicine treatment and combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine can improve the symptoms and signs of patients, promote the growth of CD4+ lymphocytes, and mediate immune reconstruction.2.The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective in r educing patient suffering and improving patients' quality of life.3.Long-term application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with HARRT can play a good synergistic effect and promote the treatment of AIDS patients.
