Retrospective Study Of The Effects Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment On The Survival Of Patients With Advanced Colorectal Cancer And Analysis Of Prognostic Factors

Objective: Through the retrospective clinical study,the observation of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for patients with advanced colorectal cancer survival period,the influence of designed to seek has the safety,efficacy for patients with advanced colorectal cancer treatments,and screen out influence independent prognostic factors for survival,so as to provide reference for judging prognosis and avoid disadvantage.Methods: On from January 2010 to December 2010 in hunan province institute of traditional Chinese medicine hospital oncology pure Chinese medicine therapy and TCM combined chemotherapy of 110 ?stage of colorectal cancer patients in hospital medical records were retrospectively clinical research,the lifetime as the main observation indexes,compared with the literature reported on the survival analysis.And may affect the prognosis of 10 indicators,introducing risk Cox proportional model,using stepwise regression method to multiple factors analysis,selecting and factorsMethods: On from January 2010 to December 2010 in hunan province institute of traditional Chinese medicine hospital oncology pure Chinese medicine therapy and TCM combined chemotherapy of 110 ?stage of colorectal cancer patients in hospital medical records were retrospectively clinical research,the lifetime as the main observation indexes,compared with the literature reported on the survival analysis.And may affect the prognosis of 10 indicators,introducing risk Cox proportional model,using stepwise regression method to multiple factors analysis,selecting and factors affecting the prognosis,and carries on the survival analysis.Results: The study,110 patients were included in the qualified,via telephone follow-up,94 cases of death,the direct cause of death for 92 cases of colorectal cancer,the 2 cases of colorectal cancer,as of December 31,2016,9 cases survived,7 patients were lost to follow-up,delete lost 16.4%.The median survival time in the whole group was 13.4 months(402 days),and the 1-year survival rate was 51.2%.The median survival time in the treatment group was 10.8 months(324 days),and the 1-year survival rate was 42.6%.The median survival time was 15.9 months(477 days)in the treatment group of Chinese and western medicine,and 67.3% in 1 year.To gender,age,syndrome type,treatment,pathological type,differentiation degree,number of transfer of organs,before the CEA,PS score before treatment,10 primary tumors surgery may risk factors affecting the prognosis of the introduction of Cox proportional model,the results showed: PS score before treatment,treatment,primary tumors before operation,syndrome differentiation,treatment CEA,degree of differentiation of six indicators are independent prognostic factors of advanced colorectal cancer survival.Conclusion: Through the from January 2010 to December 2010 in our hospital oncology treated with pure Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine combined chemotherapy of 110 ?stage of colorectal cancer patients in hospital medical records were retrospectively the clinical study,the results showed:(1)combination of traditional Chinese medicine and chemotherapy can prolong the survival time of patients with refractory colorectal cancer and improve the long-term survival rate.(2)patients with poor basic conditions and difficult to tolerate the adverse reactions of chemotherapy can be treated with pure Chinese medicine,and the best symptomatic support treatment can be compared to prolong the living time and improve the quality of life.(3)treatment methods,PS score,primary surgery,syndrome differentiation,CEA and degree of differentiation were the major factors influencing the prognosis of patients with advanced colorectal cancer.Primary operation and combination chemotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine are the protective factors for the prognosis,actively seek surgical removal of primary lesions,and adopt the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine to improve the prognosis.However,PS score,CEA level and degree of differentiation were unfavorable factors for prognosis.Compared three kinds of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,syndrome classification for the hot and humid embodiment,stasis poison knot in the prognosis of patients with the best,followed by anaemia,pixu(spleen deficient)license stasis poison inside,the worst prognosis of spleen and kidney deficiency,blood stasis poison within the certificate.
