Objective:This retrospective study studied 52 patients with lupus nephritis complicated by Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and aimed to study the correlation between TCM typing and laboratory indicators of lupus nephritis combined with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Methods:This study adopted the method of retrospective analysis to select the patients with lupus nephritis suffering from coexistent Hashimoto's thyroiditis who met the standard in the Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology and Immunology of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2013 to December 2019,and collect the TCM data(i.e.the relevant classification)and laboratory data(including FT3,FT4,TSH,thyroglobulin antibody, thyroid peroxidase antibody,BUN,Scr),establish a relevant database, and analyze and summarize them by statistical methods to draw conclusions.Results:1.The patients participating in the retrospective analysis can be roughly divided into four types of syndrome(Heat-toxin-flammable type,Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type,Deficiency of both qi and yin type,Yin deficiency of liver and kidney type),and the number of the patients with Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type is the largest in these four types.2.The average values of FT3 and FT4 in patients with Heat-toxin-flammable type are higher than normal, the average values of TSH are lower than normal. The average values of FT3 and FT4 in patients with Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type,Deficiency of both qi and yin type,Yin deficiency of liver and kidney type are lower than normal, the average values of TSH were higher than normal.3.Among the four types of syndromes, the average value of FT3 is sorted from high to low as Heat-toxin-flammable type,Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type,Deficiency of both qi and yin type,Yin deficiency of liver and kidney type;the average value of FT4 is sorted from high to low as Heat-toxin-flammable type,Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type,Yin deficiency of liver and kidney type,Deficiency of both qi and yin type;the average value of TSH is sorted from high to low as Yin deficiency of liver and kidney type,Deficiency of both qi and yin type,Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type,Heat-toxin-flammable type.4.There is no significant correlation between thyroglobulin antibody and thyroid peroxidase antibody as well as the typing.5.Mean BUN in the four syndrome types: Qi and Yin deficiency type> Spleen and kidney yang deficiency type> Liver and kidney yin deficiency type> Heat poisoning and burning type;Scr mean Qi and Yin deficiency type> Spleen and kidney yang deficiency type> Liver and kidney Yin deficiency type> Heat poison and flame type.Conclusion:1.Patients with LN combined with HT can be divided into four types of syndromes: heat and flaming, spleen and kidney yang deficiency,qi and yin deficiency, liver and kidney yin deficiency, and patients with spleen and kidney yang deficiency are the most.2.Among the patients with LN and HT,the hypertoxic thyroid function in patients with heat and flammability, hypothyroidism in patients with spleen and kidney yang deficiency,qi and yin deficiency and liver and kidney yin deficiency, and qi and yin deficiency and liver and kidney Patients with Yin deficiency type have more hypothyroidism.3.In patients with LN combined with HT,there is no significant correlation between thyroid-related antibodies and TCM typing.4.Among patients with LN and HT,patients with both qi and yin deficiency have the highest degree of renal function damage, patients with spleen and kidney yang deficiency type have the second highest damage, patients with liver and kidney yin deficiency type have lower kidney function damage, and patients with heat and flaming type The degree of renal damage is the lowest.
