Research On Chinese Urban Poetry Since The 1990s

Since the 1990 s,with the rapid advancement of China's urbanization,the proportion of urban landscape,urban life and urban experience in contemporary poetry have been increasing.Urban writing has gradually become the content of contemporary poetry creation,and the focus of contemporary poetry research.Facing the great phenomenon and subject of the rise of urban poetry,this paper draws on the study of Chinese urban poetry since the 1990 s.Focusing on the poetry of the top cities in China,including Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,and Shenzhen,to explore tthe complex relationship between contemporary Chinese cities and poetry,and the development and changes of urban poetry since the 1990 s,and try to summarize the unique evolution of Chinese contemporary urban poetry.The introduction summarizes the background and significance of this research,and analyzes and reviews the current status and progress of urban poetry research.The first chapter combs the rise and fall of Chinese contemporary urban poetry.First of all,I will contact the generation and development of Chinese modern urban poetry,and discuss the relation between poetry and city.Then,reflecting on the stagnation of China's urbanization,the decline of urban culture and the weakening of urban poetry after 1949,further discuss the recovery of urban poetry in the late 1970 s and 1980 s,and outline the active and prosperous development of contemporary Chinese urban poetry after the 1990 s.The second chapter analyzes the urban poetry practice under the background of "urbanization" since the 1990 s.Then discusses the regional characteristics of urban poetry,the poet's urban identity,the theme and image of urban poetry,to explore contemporary urban spatial perception and psychological emotions in urban poetry.The third chapter starts with the new context of China's transition to urban society,discusses the transfer and reconstruction of urban and rural experiences,discriminates and analyzes Chinese urban poetry since the 1990 s,and tries to discuss the new urban aesthetics that urban poetry displays.The conclusion is based on the previous research to comment on contemporary Chinese urban poetry,and looks forward to the future of urban poetry.
