Zhang Daqian and Pollock are the most influential artists in the history of Chinese and Western art.At present, the case study of Zhang Daqian and Pollock has been quite deep.Through the study of the previous academic achievements,it is found that there are great similarities between Zhang Daqian's pour the color painting and Pollock's drip the color painting in some aspects, and in the academic achievements of the past have to compare the art of trying.Through parallel comparison, starting from the background of the two painters, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the way of painting, the artistic creation and the concept of painting of the two painters.Chinese and Western paintings have different cultural systems and aesthetic traditions.Chinese paintings pursue the creation of "between likeness and unlikeness" objects and the creation of artistic conception, thus expressing the subjective feelings of the heart.Western painting from the traditional classical objective depiction to Pollock's full subjective feelings expressed in the pursuit of extroverted form.As an important representative of the abstract expression of Chinese painting,Zhang Daqian's painting is the reform of Chinese painting in the context of Western art.His pour the color painting is an abstract painting with the spirit of Chinese painting.Zhang Daqian's pour the color painting is not thorough in terms of abstraction advancement compared with Pollock's color painting. If the abstract expression in the picture is abstract,it completely abandons the shaping of the figurative form, and loses the artistic spirit of the traditional Chinese painting. Therefore, the abstract transformation of Chinese painting painters is impossible to take a pure abstract expression of Pollock's way.
