Under the current background of media convergence,people's way of thinking and life style have become diversified and fragmented.The rise of micro-cultures such as microcinema,WeChat,and micro-blogs has also brought about changes in the form and content of documentaries.Micro documentaries came into being.The micro documentary has the characteristics of short film length,documentary content,and microscopic narration.The topic of the series of micro documentaries "The most beautiful people from Yangzhou" came from the joint office of the Yangzhou Civilization Office to find the "most beautiful people" activities around them.The characters selected in the film were Wang Shou Fen,who has held on to the position of the rural doctor for 47 years.Meng Yao,the director of Yangzhou "Guanglan Orchid",is the teaching and inheriting of Kunqu opera,and Zhang De Bing,the founder of Yangzhou's first public volunteer organization,"The League of Dreams for Volunteers".The qualities of these three characters respect,respectively,the beauty of being rooted at the grass-roots level,the beauty of inheriting Kunqu Opera and the beauty of dedication about volunteer service of the series of documentaries "The most beautiful people from Yangzhou".The three mini-documentaries use a linear narrative approach to supplement the narrative through interviews with characters and use elements such as suspense to tell the story of the characters.Unlike many micro documentaries,the series of micro documentaries "The most beautiful people from Yangzhou" record the story behind the "the most beautiful people" in limited time.by long-time following shot of the subject.
