With the rapid developments of network media,especially those of the mobile Internet,the Micro-Documentary newly emerges and PGC(Professionally-Generated Content)is one of the important production methods of it.It’s not only helps to sort out the creation and communication status,but also learns from their gains and losses to study the communication art features,creative mechanism and communication strategy of PGC Micro-Documentaries.First of all,this paper defines the PGC Micro-Documentary as the modern-media-technology based non-fictional films with convergent conception and the general characteristics of micro-communication.PGC is a counterpart of UGC(User-generated Content)in the production and communication of Micro-Documentaries,which is created by the professional Micro-Documentary teams with higher production qualities,more exquisite styles,and more sophisticated contents,layouts,as well as narrative strategies.Secondly,this article applies the method of positive research in demonstration.It uses the main bodies,point of views,contents,narrative structures,rhythms and skills as the specific indicators,focusing on three samples-"Forbidden City 100" "City War" and "365 Chinese Dream Stories".Thirdly,based on the study above,this paper analyzes the artistic features of PGC Micro-Documentary,including the tendentious subjects,fragmentary content,narrative structure fragmentation,personalized narrative perspectives and spatio-temporal concentration.It is found that the professional teams of the PGC creators ensure the quality of the work,and their specific identity regulates the orientation of their creation and the reality of media convergence motivated cross-border creative cooperation and its basic narrative strategies.In the end,the analysis on PGC Micro-Documentary communication strategy concludes that a large number of combinations realize the theme of resonance;the linkage between media pushes the interaction of communication powers;the accumulation of details gives deep meanings to the sublime words in Micro-Documentaries;and edifying communication improves audience experiences. |
