Sun Yu is a famous Chinese film director.This paper analyzes his romantic movies.In the first chapter,the author analyzes that Sun Yu's ideas guiding his creation are not totally aesthetic romanticism,nor totally political romanticism,and also points out the similarities and differences between the two types of romanticism.The paper also argues that out of his personal reason and the demands of the times,Sun Yu accepted part of the aesthetic romanticism criticizing dogma and part of the political romanticism encouraging people to revolt.In the second chapter,it notes that with the guidance of the integrated romanticism creation ideas,the characteristic of Sun Yu's "ideal person" and how to express it with the images.In the third chapter,it notes that the characteristic of Sun Yu's "ideal society" and how to express it with the images.
