Towards "refinement"

As a unique type in the seal cutting art,Yuan zhuwen stands out in this field.The evolution of its artistic language occupies an important status in the development of the seal industry.Sorting out its development and the features of the artistic language belong to a significant subject.On the basis of historic development and in combination with relevant literary material,the article digs into the relation between Fine zhuwen and Yuan zhuwen and make an analysis of causes,the features of artistic language and the representatives etc.Mainly focusing on the“the formation and the establishment of yuan zhuwen paradigm.”,“the inheritance and change of yuan zhuwen’s artistic language”,“Yuan zhuwen is the existence of a style paradigm in fine zhu wen”,the article develops through the clue of evolution of the art of seal cutting with the intention of covering a thorough knowledge of the artistic language of Yuan zhuwen.To be specific,Fine zhuwen of the Tang and the Song Dynasties have wrapped up the basic qualities of Yuan zhuwen.Zhaomengfu of the Yuan Dynasty made some adjustments to the artistic language of Fine zhuwen,which is called “Yuan zhuwen”later.In that case,the artistic style of Yuan zhuwen was established since then.The Fine zhuwen of the Ming and Qing Dynasties took their cue from previous style.That is to say,Fine zhuwen of this period is equal to Yuan zhuwen.With the change of the seal cutting art,DingJIng,representative of ZheJiang style,used stylish ways of carving to carve Fine zhuwen.however,Dengshiru who stood for An Hui style used seal character to take control of the style of Fine zhuwen.Under this circumstance,the connotation of the Fine zhuwen was expanded and enriched too,which unavoidably blurred the boundary of the two.On account of the expansion of the connotation,Shaoshuru and Chenjulai of republic of China in the late Qing Dynasty,rearranged the artistic language of Yuan zhuwen to make its connotation and expansion more clear.Yuan zhuwen of this period came to lose the style of carving but was crafted delicatedly,its artistic language is also becoming more and more accurate.Finally,the paper discusses the existing problems of yuan zhuwen as a style paradigm in fine zhuwen.
